In 1966, while I was at grad school at OU, our daughter, Cindy came home from the first grade and said, "I'm going to go to OU and I'm going to be a sportswriter. She was a classmate of Debbie Weeks. She did and she is. How he could have made such an impression on her at that age is beyond me, but he did. From '66 to '69 Jim and Mary Lyle were great neighbors. May he rest in peace.
