Condolences

Condolence From: Charlotte Hudson
Condolence: Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of our Eula. She belonged to everyone, because she made a point of making everyone feel part of the family. I've known and loved her for 40 years now and everytime I make peanut brittle, hot sauce our mexican food I think of her and how many recipes she's handed down to so many people. What fun times at the lake and get togethers, dancing and laughing the night away. Life was always a little bit brighter with Eula around. I will miss my sister always, but I'm glad she is pain free and relaxing and putting her feet up with the Lord. She's probably already made him a batch of peanut brittle. I love you all so much. Aunt Charlotte

Condolence: Nothing but fond and loving memories. Eula always treated me like a son. She made sure everyone was taken care of first. You had to eat and relax before she would eat and relax. She also introduced me to "noodles and chive", still my favorite after 30 years. I'll always miss you.

Condolence: I will dearly miss her visits to Dallas and Peggy Sue’s in particular, BBQ will never be the same. Every time I met her she made me feel like I was part of the family and had known her for years. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Condolence: On behalf of my entire family, I wish to extend my deepest sympathies on the passing of Ms. Eula. I have so many fond memories of time spent with Eula and Walter over the years. Eula would make me tea and toast every morning when she was worked in my office. How many son-in-laws can say they enjoyed their mother-in-law working for them? I was never hungry when she was around for food or love. She was like a mother to me. I am truly blessed to have loved and to have been loved by her.

Condolence: Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for your loss. As you grieve know that we are remembering you and honoring Eula’s memory.

Eula was so full of life; she brought joy to everyone she was around. She was like a Mom to me and all of Kim’s friends. She spent her life serving others, and I am so thankful to have known her.

Her memory will always be in our hearts.

Condolence From: Bill and Mary Heisten
Condolence: Dear Walter and Family,
When I started going with Bill he told me the Sanford's were family...not by blood but certainly by love and soon I felt the same way about both "Eully Mae's" and her sister ,Deanna's family. These are the most loving and caring familys I have ever been around. I feel it an honor that she adopted me as a sister when mine moved from Grove. Words can not express how much we will miss her. I know she is now at peace and God has a new red head flying around with his special angels. We love you all so very much. Bill and Mary

Condolence: Everytime I go to Barbecue Inn, I think of Eula and Sonny Boy. Eula made the best peanut brittle. I think she heard we would get into arguments over it at Christmas. So, she started sending each family member their own individual container. Eula was such a caring person, she will truly be missed. Sonny Boy our prayers are with you and your family.

Condolence: Aunt Eula was full of life and so much fun to be around. She always put her family first. I am sure I'm not the only one to say her peanut brittle was something we looked forward to every Christmas. And let's not forget her enchiladas either! When my mom spoke to her after she had been in the hospital the first time, my mom told her you better take it easy and start thinking about yourself. I believe Aunt Eula's response was "isn't that the pot calling the kettle black"! She will be greatly missed. Love, Carla

Condolence: Eula will live in our hearts forever. She inspired us all to be better people, to live, to laugh, and most of all to love unconditionally. We are blessed to have known you, to have loved you, and to have been loved by you. Thank you for opening your heart, your home, and your kitchen to us ;-). Until we meet again ...
