Condolence From: Debbie Thompson
Condolence: Flippo was the very best friend anyone could ever wish for. I had that honor of being HER BEST FRIEND.. She always was there for me no matter what. She will be truly missed. I loved her so much.
She was part of our family from the time she stepped on that Playground in Quanah Texas 45 years ago, until that last breath she took on this earth, November 23 2009. I had the honor of being the first person who introduced myself when she moved to Quanah. Flippo held my hand on many occasions when I really needed a friend through out the past 45 years and I had the blessing and honor to be able to hold her hand her last few days fo her life. The lord had blessed Debbie with two beautiful children, Dustin and Amanda and their beautiful families. Most of all I want to say Butch Carver was her soul mate. She looked long and hard for you and when she found you she was scared it was too perfect.Butch you were the love of her life. She loved her life and everyone she ever met. In her heart my parents were her parents and my children her children. We shared many memories and many secrets and lots of good times. Good Bye Sweet Deb ..

Condolence: As my other classmates from QHS 1973 have stated, I remember an energetic friendly blonde we affectionately called “Flippo”. She welcomed me into her life so openly as a newcomer to town, and then reconnected with me after years, via the net. She told me of her love of her life, and her family. I know those closest to her will miss her dearly. May you find comfort in the hope of our Lord Jesus Christ and the knowledge of seeing her again because of His love.

Condolence: As hard as this may be to think it even possible, I am sure that Heaven is much brighter and more beautiful today than it was yesterday because of our loss and its gain. Just the thought of Debbie brings a smile to my heart. I am blessed to be connected with Debbie in several ways. When I was 13, I really wanted to give her the title of "wicked step mom" but for some reason that idea just really never caught on! Not many "step" relationships are even close to being good ones but Debbie and her step daughters, Lora and Tina's was then and continued to be a feeling of family that was undeniable. I remember one day in middle school when Lora, my other 3 best friends and myself were sitting in Art class and they came over the intercom to tell Lora that she had a baby brother! That little guy, Dustin, grew into a wonderful young man that became a member of our family and then continued to bless our family with 2 beautiful babies, Emmy and Garren Keith - Debbie's grandkids - 2 of them anyway! Debbie's grandchildren were everything to her and more. To say that Debbie will be missed is an understatement. Her battle is over and she is at home with our Lord. To all of Debbie's family, I could never name you all, I love you and thank you for the honor of singing for this beautiful lady. You will remain in our prayers.

Condolence: I graduated from Quanah High School in 1973 with "Flippo". Her bubbly and sweet personality will always be remembered. Heaven must have needed another angel-so they took one of ours. Goodbye Debbie.

Condolence: The world lost a terrific person today but the Lord gave her her wings as HE wanted a SPECIAL ANGEL. Debbie was a very special person to so many people as she touched their lives in so many ways. I didn't know Debbie for very long but she was one of those people you felt like you had known her all your life. I met her when she brought a group from Grove to visit our facilities and from that moment we became friends. Even so much that I had the privilege of going on a trip with her and being her room mate. What a joy that was and I was hoping to be her room mate again, which I will be one of these days. Debbie loved her family. My prays are with the family and may the love of friends and family will carry you though your grief.
