Obituary for Jack Earl Wise

Jack Earl Wise, resident of Wyandotte, OK, passed away at his home Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the age of 70.

Jack was born on April 28, 1942 in Seminole County, OK to Lewis Wise and Mandy (Tiger) Wise. Jack graduated from the Bowlegs High School in Bowlegs, OK. After high school he continued his education at Haskell Junior College in Lawrence, KS where he obtained his associates degree. After Jack’s education he trained as a Welder and worked briefly in Kansas City welding military tank parts. He then worked at Braden Steel in Tulsa for 14 years. After moving back to the Wyandotte Community, Jack worked for the Seneca-Cayaga Tribal Bingo as a security guard, then at the Grove Middle School in maintenance.

Jack married Ramona Smith in Seminole, OK on February 3, 1972. He enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. He also enjoyed going to flea markets but he most of all loved to be with his family especially at dinner time.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Mandy Wise; brother Jimmy Wise; sister Elizabeth Middleton; and nephews Eastman Wise and Evans C. Wise, Jr.

Survivors include his wife Ramona of the home; grandson Ryan A. Ellis of the home; daughter Towanda Marie Miller of Holdenville; granddaughter Brandi Marie Davis of Holdenville; grandsons: Jacob and Jeremiah Davis of Jay, OK; four sisters: May Wise, Annie Wise, Charlene Lowe, and Geraldine Little; and five brothers: Evan C. Wise, Joe W. Wise, Tim Wise, Terry Wise, and Gerald Wise.

Funeral Services for Jack will be11:00 AM, Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Council House Cemetery with Mr. Kennedy Wise, Mr. Richard Soldier, and Mr. Paul Barton, presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
