Thelma Marie White, 95, died at her residence in Jay, Oklahoma on Wednesday, November 30, 2011.

Thelma was the daughter of Johnny and Clara Thomas, she was born on February 13, 1916 in Gentry, Arkansas. Thelma was a member of the Maysville Baptist Church.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Howard White, a son Jerry White and two sisters. She is survived by two sisters; Grace Glass of Gentry, Arkansas and Dorothy Woods and her husband Pugar of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Thelma is also survived by three grandsons; Rickey Lee White and his wife Tammie, Donald “Skeeter” White and his wife Darcy and Phil White. She was blessed with five great grandchildren; Brittany Asbill, Remington White, Levi White, Kenzington White and Regan White; and two great-great grandchildren Linlee and Laynee Asbill.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Maysville Cemetery in Maysville, Arkansas with Pastor Lenny Martin officiating.
