Nancy W. Lemmon, 83, a resident of Grove passed away at a Tulsa Hospital on Monday, October 17, 2011. She was born on January 28, 1928 in Irvin, Kentucky to Mitchell Gaddis and Evelyn (Batson) Whiteman. Nancy worked as a nanny as caring for people was her passion, she was a hairdresser and loved to read her bible. Mrs. Lemmon was preceded in death by her husband William L. Lemmon, two children Nancy Gail Robinson and Robert Franklin Robinson, a brother Ralph Gayle Robinson and a sister Dorothy Jane Whiteman.

Nancy’s surviving family are her son Joe Allen Robinson of Grove, a brother Richard Whiteman and his wife Mary of Reelands, California, her grand-daughter Amanda Lee Smothers of St. Louis, Missouri and great grandchildren Piper Ainsley and Gayle Monson also of St. Louis.

Services for Mrs. Lemmon will be on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove. Interment will follow in the Buzzard Cemetery in Grove under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.
