Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261. Billy Ray Horner, 62, of Miami, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Miami Nursing Center. Billy was a long-term resident of Grove, Oklahoma.
He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, music and collecting bird houses. Billy was a “cut up” and would do anything for a piece of chocolate. He loved people and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Billy loved action hero movies and to laugh. His smile and laughter were contagious and infectious to all who surrounded him.
Billy was born to Ruby and Glenn Horner in Picher, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Joan Robertson and Glenda Tippett.
He is survived by his brother, James Horner of Orange, Texas, sister, Daphena Hadley of Bella Vista, AR, sister, Debbie Andrews of Colcord, OK, brother, Loyal Lewis of Maysville, AR, and brother, Donald Lewis of Maysville, AR and many other family and friends.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
