Following his Honorable Discharge from the service, the couple returned to Bartlesville where Marvin began his 34-year career with Phillips Petroleum Company.
Marvin and Billie made their home in Wann from 1958 until moving to rural Dewey in 1978. He retired in March of 1992 as a Computer Analyst Supervisor in the Supply and Accounting Department of Phillips Petroleum Company.
