Condolence From: Wendy (Angell) Cain
Condolence: I just heard the sad news of the passing of Les. I have so many fond memories of Les that I forever hold near and dear to my heart. I am one of those grateful people touched by his love of food, dancing, sports, fishing and storytelling. I was so happy to hear the news that he has a wife, son and grandchildren. I am sorry for your loss and you are in my prayers. With Love

Condolence: Les. I'd met many people in my life and for many I've worked diligently. Sometimes, you meet that one person, that client who will forever be more of a friend than an associate. From the old days in Branson, the hours we talked about so much, the advice, much like a father, you'll never be forgotten. Funny, when I think of you, I always remember "cosmo.", and how close that hyper pup was with you. You will forever be missed.

Condolence: Cindy, I am so sorry for your loss! Les was a great guy and a long-time friend from Jet. I was in the class behind Les ('64) and recall many fun times and memories of our growing up together! I am so disappointed I didn't get to attend his memorial today--just wasn't up for the long trip to Eastern Oklahoma. We both spent our entire educational years at Jet and also grew up in the same church! My prayers are for your peace and comfort in the difficult days ahead!

Condolence: You sir will be truly missed by many. I will always treasure the memories of working for you, for many years. You always made me laugh and enjoy my job. Hope you are riding on the Gator clearing a path to get to those big fish. Rest in Peace Les. 💘

Condolence: Les will always be a true “Jet-ite” to me and my family. His mother, Frances Geitgey Dunavant, was one of my mother’s (Berniece Metcalf Thornburgh) best friends. I remember him as a smart entrepreneur. We send our heartfelt sympathy to Cindy and the entire family.
