Benjamin Funeral Service Nowata, Oklahoma 918-273-2700.............Margie Lynn (Hicks) Ogden, 67, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at her residence in Nowata, Oklahoma.

She was born January 9, 1951 to Paul and Roberta “Betty” Hicks in Nowata, Oklahoma. She received her education from Nowata School District, where she was a graduate of the Class of 1969. On June 29, 1969 she married the love of her life, Phil Ogden, in Nowata, at the First Church of God. Margie and Phil made their home in Nowata and raised two wonderful daughters.

Margie enjoyed playing golf and was the club champ for several years. She loved working puzzles, sewing, and organizing family pictures, most of all Margie enjoyed her family. She loved spending time with her husband, daughters, grandchildren, siblings, and treasured each special moment spent with her parents. Margie also cherished times spent with her lifelong best friend Pam Geiger.

Margie is survived by her mom Roberta “Betty” Hicks of Nowata; her husband, Phil Ogden of the home; two daughters, Kristi Spurgeon and close friend Larry Malaske of Nowata; Candy Fite and husband David of Mangum, OK; one brother, Charles Hicks and wife Debbie of Talala, OK; one sister, Judy Duggan and husband Rick of Ponca City, OK; one grandson Rigley Fite; two granddaughters, Abby and Katey Spurgeon; as well as a host of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her dad Paul Hubert Hicks.

Margie and her beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew her.
