We are so thankful to have known Charlie for almost 30 years. What a blessing he was to so many and a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. Our prayers will continue on for the family but we rejoice in knowing he is celebrating in the presence of his Savior!

A short stint as neighbors in the 1960s became a lifelong friendship between our families. So many acts of kindness and treasured memories came from the Hawkins family. What a gift Charlie and all the Hawkins' have been to the Porters over the decades ... much thanks and condolences to you all.

Charlie's reputation in Nowata was that of a godly man. What more could one want in a person. He was a shining example of how to live the good life and led others down the paths of righteousness. My sympathy to his family and friends for he surely will be missed.
