Benjamin Funeral Service Nowata, Oklahoma 918-273-2700

Tawn Elizabeth (Smith) Stewart was born in Plackman, Louisiana on October 2, 1963 to Lloyd and Phyllis Smith. Tawn left her earthly home and crossed over to her heavenly home on August 9, 2018 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Tawn grew up in the Nowata where she attended school and graduated with class of 1982. On April 2, 1998 she married David Stewart in Springfield, Missouri.

Tawn was a wonderful wife and homemaker, but first and foremost a true mom and grandma. She enjoyed reading, listening to gospel music, crocheting and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loved going to her grandchildren’s baseball games and cheering them on. She was very hard worker there wasn’t anything that she couldn’t do. Everyone that knew her loved her because she was a positive influence in their life. She never met a stranger and everyone that ever entered her home was made to feel like family. She is and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Tawn is survived by her husband David Stewart; two children, Jennifer Trotter and husband Michael of Nowata, Ok, Chad Richards and fiancé Bobbi Tosh of Nowata, Ok, Five Grandchildren; Michael Trotter, Jalyn Trotter, Lane Trotter, Noah Richards, Gabriel Richards and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Phyllis Smith
