Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita, Oklahoma 918-256-5555.......Willie Louis Allen, 69-year-old Vinita resident, passed from this life at St. Francis Hospital, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on August 4, 2018. He was born in Vinita on January 26, 1949 to Silas Moses and Mary Elizabeth (Hicks) Allen. He was a 1967 graduate of Vinita High School and soon after her went to work for Craig General Hospital in Vinita. He worked there in purchasing until his retirement. Willie attended Saint Paul Methodist Church in Vinita when younger and enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and Perry Mason on television. He was also an avid Sooner and Oklahoma City Thunder fan. Willie loved listening to music and spending time with his nephews and family. Willie will be missed by all who knew him.
Preceding Willie in death are his parents Silas and Mary Allen and a nephew Douglas West.
Survivors include his two brothers John Vann and wife Becky of Washington, Carl Allen and wife Angelia of San Antonio, Texas; three sisters, Myrtle West and husband Van of Tulsa, Lynnette Allen of Vinita, Elizabeth Allen of Vinita; nieces Donisha Allen of Vinita, Sabrina Allen of Vinita, Angelia Davis of Tulsa, Chole Davis of Tulsa, Candice Allen of San Antonio, Tracy Vann of Washington; nephews, Reese Allen of Vinita, Gabriel Allen of Vinita, Carver West of Tulsa Carl Allen Jr. of San Antonio; many other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral Services for Willie Allen will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tony Nash officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Vinita, Oklahoma. Services are entrusted to Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
