Memorial Services for Melody Lynn Irons (Hick) 59, of Delaware, OK will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at the Benjamin Funeral Home Chapel in Nowata, Oklahoma.

Melody Lynn Irons (Hick) passed from this life Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center in Nowata, OK. Melody was born January 13, 1959 in Vintia, OK to Ancil H. Hicks and Estella Luci (O’Neill) Hicks. Melody was an outgoing woman she always made sure when you left you had a smile. There wasn’t a person that she met that she didn’t have an impact on. In her spare time, she enjoyed taxidermy. She loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Melody will be missed by all who knew her.

Melody was predeceased by her husband Jerry Irons and her parents, Ancil H. Hicks and Estella “Luci” O’Neill (Hicks)

She is survived by her three sons, Chris Irons of Nowata, Oklahoma, Bryan Irons of Delaware, Oklahoma, Steven Irons of Delaware; One Sister, Laverne Kerr of Delaware, Oklahoma; One granddaughter Hailey Irons; One grandson KiamBra Irons and a special friend Steve Tharp
