Obituary for Kathleen Hensley

Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita........918 -256-5555 Kathleen "Kat" (Johnson) Hensley passed away July 16, 2017at St. Francis Hospital Tulsa, Ok. The daughter of Andy (Junior) Johnson and Ida Louise (Allen) Johnson. Kat was raised in Vinita and graduated from Vinita High school in 1976. She enjoyed music and dancing, liked to cook and spend time with family. Kat had worked at Clanton's Restaurant for many years. She was a collector of turquoise jewlery. Kat was a life long resident of Vinita and Craig County.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, two brothers Garland and Calvin Johnson; sister Glenda Downing.
Survivors include the father of her children Kenny Hensley, two sons Marcus and Jeremy Johnson of Vinita, Ok. One daughter Kisha Hensley of Vinita, Ok; she had four grandchildren. Four sisters Della Mae and Cecilia Ramsey both of Warner Robins, Ga., Julie Ann Star of Kansas City, Mo. and Delania Johnson of Vinita, Ok; two brothers Jack and Johnny Johnson of Vinita, Ok; numerous niecies, nephews and a host of friends.
A family visitation will be held Sunday July 23, 2017 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. Funeral services will be Monday July 24, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the United Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Farris Downing Officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita.
