The Luginbuel family of funeral homes is committed to ensuring those who face grief don’t have to make the journey on their own. We believe aftercare service is just as important as a funeral service to help those who have lost a loved one begin the process of healing and moving forward.
Aftercare is a continuation of Luginbuel support services. Few events are as painful as the loss of a loved one but many people find that sharing their stories and memories with others who have experienced the same kind of loss is essential for recovery. We believe our funeral homes can be the center of grief support and education in communities. Our directors want to assist people with what can be a difficult and painful transition.

The Tristesse Center
A Tulsa based non-profit organization that offers individual or group counselling in a safe and caring environment. Bereaved families can share feelings, celebrate the lives of their loved ones, cry, be comforted and create new lives nurtured and enriched by their memories. Offers diverse workshops for children, teens, adults and seniors.
Center for Loss and Life Transition
A private organization dedicated to furthering our understanding of and compassion for the complex set of emotions we call grief. Dedicated to helping the bereaved by walking with them in their unique life journeys, and bereavement caregivers by serving as their educational liaison and professional forum.
National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization
Committed to improving end of life care and expanding access to hospice care with the goal of profoundly enhancing the quality of life for people dying in America, and their loved ones.
GriefNet
GriefNet is an Internet community of persons dealing with grief, death, and major loss. They have many e-mail support groups. This integrated approach to online grief support provides help to people working through loss and grief issues of all kinds.
